Terms of Service

By accessing or using Konvrt ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Konvrt is a browser-based file conversion tool. Files are processed locally on your device using WebAssembly technology. The Service includes:

• Free file conversion with daily usage limits
• Paid plans (Pro and Team) with expanded features
• Batch image processing (paid plans only)
• Conversion history and dashboard (account holders)

Account creation is optional for basic use. When you create an account:

• You must provide accurate information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• You must be at least 13 years old

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits through automated means, multiple accounts, or other methods
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Use the Service to convert files you do not have the right to process
• Resell, redistribute, or white-label the Service without written permission

5.1 Pricing

Pro and Team plans are available as one-time purchases. Prices are listed on our pricing page and are subject to change. Price changes do not affect existing purchases.

5.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed by our payment provider. By making a purchase, you also agree to their terms of service.

5.3 Refunds

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all purchases. To request a refund, contact us at support@konvrt.com or initiate a refund through our payment provider. No questions asked.

5.4 License

A purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the paid features of the Service. The license is valid for the lifetime of the product version purchased, including minor updates. Major version upgrades may require a new purchase.

Team plan purchases include up to 5 seats. The account holder who purchases the Team plan is the team administrator and is responsible for:

• Managing team members and invitations
• Ensuring team members comply with these Terms
• All activity conducted under the team account

The Service, including its design, code, WASM engines, and branding, is owned by Konvrt and protected by intellectual property laws.

Your files remain your property. Because files are processed locally and never uploaded to our servers, we have no access to and claim no rights over your content.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• That the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• That conversion results will be accurate or meet your requirements
• That the Service will be compatible with all devices or browsers

File conversion quality depends on your input files, browser capabilities, and device resources. We cannot guarantee specific output quality or format compatibility.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Konvrt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data or files
• Loss of revenue or profits
• Damage resulting from conversion errors

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Konvrt from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

You may stop using the Service at any time. You may delete your account by contacting us.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use paid features ceases, but our refund policy still applies within the 30-day window.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Konvrt operates. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
